If your transfer history displays "Payout failed", this may be due to the following reasons:
Bank Transfer
- The account information registered on FANBOX contains typos or other errors.
- The total amount transferred to the same account over several days exceeds 1 million JPY (*1).
*1 In case of Early Payouts, if the total amount transferred to the same account within a specific period exceeds 1 million JPY, the transfer may not go through, and an error could occur. Retry the transfer in a few days, or opt for Auto-Payout for a smoother transaction.
PayPal
If several days have passed since initiating a payout on FANBOX, but the funds have not appeared in your PayPal account, one of the following issues may be the cause. Log in to the PayPal account you set as your payout destination and check the registered e-mail address and payout status.

The e-mail address you registered on FANBOX is incorrect
- The e-mail address contains typos or is invalid
- The e-mail address is not linked to a PayPal account
- The e-mail address differs from the one linked to your PayPal account

First-time payout not completed
- For first-time payouts, PayPal may send you an e-mail requesting that you accept the payment. Make sure you have completed this process.

Identity verification not completed (for payouts over 100,000 JPY)
- For transfers over 100,000 JPY, PayPal requires identity verification for personal accounts. If verification is incomplete, PayPal may place the payout on hold.
About Cancellations
If you do not accept a PayPal payment within 30 days, it will be automatically canceled by PayPal.
- In such cases, your FANBOX payout history will show "Payout failed" or "Canceled".
- After a certain period, the canceled amount will be returned to your Transferrable Amount on FANBOX.
Please note that FANBOX cannot manually cancel PayPal payouts, even if the registered account information is incorrect. Instead, the payout will be automatically canceled. It usually takes about one month before the canceled amount is returned to your Transferrable Amount. After that, please update your payout information with the correct details and initiate the payout again.
Wise
- The bank account linked to your Wise does not support the currency specified on FANBOX.
- The account information registered on Wise contains typos or other errors.
- You have not set up a bank account on Wise to receive payouts (*2)
*2 You may receive an e-mail from Wise about setting up your bank account after an auto-payout is carried out.Please follow the instructions in the e-mail and set up a bank account to receive the earnings from your Wise account.
You can check the transfer information registered in FANBOX under Manage Pledges/Payouts.
Please note that transfers not marked as "Payout failed" in your history may take up to 5 business days to complete.
