Only creators who have 10 or more supporters at the time of integration can use this feature.
If the number of supporters falls below 10 after integration, the link will remain active. However, if you disconnect the integration and wish to reconnect later, you will need at least 10 supporters at that time.
How to use Discord integration
-
Create a Discord account
If you already have a Discord account, you don't need to create a new one. -
Create the server you want to connect
If you want to connect an existing server, you don't need to create a new one. -
Connect your account from the "App integration" section of your Account Settings page
-
When Discord opens, select the server you want to connect, check all boxes, and authenticate your account
Make sure you check all boxes, including "Manage Roles", "Kick Members", and "Create Invites". If even one box is left unchecked, the integration may not work properly. -
Create roles and set permissions
Please create new roles specifically for FANBOX integration. If you link an existing role to a FANBOX plan, non-supporters who already have that role may lose it.
Also, make sure to move the FANBOX Bot role above the supporter roles in the role hierarchy. -
Assign roles to supporters for each plan
Go to the Edit Plan page on FANBOX, select "Link this plan to a role", choose the appropriate role, and save.
When a supporter who has completed the Discord integration joins your server, the role will be automatically assigned to them.
If the integration isn’t working correctly, check these settings in Discord.
- Are roles set up for each FANBOX plan?
- Is the FANBOX Bot role placed above the roles assigned to your supporters?
- Have the FANBOX Bot's permissions been changed or removed?
