What to keep in mind when rebuilding your plans
If you've been running your FANBOX for a while, you might eventually want to delete an existing plan and replace it with a new one at a different price.
When a plan is deleted, all supporters on that plan will have their pledges automatically stopped (they'll be switched to the “Following” status). For that reason, extra caution is needed when deleting plans with a large number of supporters.
This guide covers what to watch out for and recommended practices when rebuilding your plans.
1. Announce changes early and clearly
Make sure to announce what's changing and when by the end of the month before the changes go into effect. Use a public post on FANBOX, as well as X, pixiv, YouTube, and any other social media to spread the word. Aim to reach as many fans as possible.
2. Delete at the end of the month, create at the start of the month
After making your announcement, delete the old plan by the end of the month before the new one goes live. If you leave the plan in place into the next month, payments will be automatically billed to your supporters, which could cause issues or complaints.
On the other hand, if you create the new plan at the end of the month, supporters may start pledging right away, only to get billed again at the start of the next month. To avoid this, it's best to create new plans at the beginning of the month.
3. Use limited-time campaigns to encourage followers to rejoin
To help former supporters rejoin your new plan, consider offering time-limited special offers within the new plan. Be sure to mention the offer details when you announce the plan changes.
Examples:
- Offer special posts or downloadable content only available to supporters for that month
- Offer temporary access to selected posts from a higher-tier plan
- Offer limited-time merchandise sales (using BOOTH’s Secret Shop feature)

Rebuilding your FANBOX plans can make things easier for you, and if done right, it can be a positive experience for your fans too. With clear announcements and thoughtful offers, you might even gain more supporters than before.
Just be sure to communicate well and give your fans something to look forward to!
