If your FANBOX posts have been reuploaded to an external website without your permission, you can have them removed from Google search results by submitting a copyright infringement report to Google.
If you are experiencing issues with your content being reuploaded elsewhere, please follow the steps below to report the infringement.
How to report
1. Access the "Report content on Google" page
Open https://reportcontent.google.com/forms/dmca_search.
Here, you can report copyright infringement in Google Search results.
2. Fill out the required fields
- First name: Enter your real first name (pen names are not acceptable).
- Last name: Enter your real last name (pen names are not acceptable).
- Company name: Enter the name you are using for your creative activities. A circle name is also acceptable.
- Copyright holder you represent: Select "Myself".
- Check "I confirm that I am the copyright holder for the content in question, and I am not filing this notice on behalf of another party."
- Choose your country/region: Select your country or region of residence.
- Is the submission related to an unauthorized stream of an upcoming live-event?: Select "No".
- Identify and describe the copyrighted work:
- Describe the copyrighted work that has been reuploaded without permission. You may refer to the examples below when describing your icon, illustrations, or text.
- Example 1: Profile page icon. "My illustration of a purple dog with long triangular ears and an extremely long body has been used on the website without permission."
- Example 2: Image from a post. "My illustration of a pink cat wearing sunglasses and licking a lollipop has been used on the website without permission."
- Where can we see an authorized example of the work?:
- Enter the URL of the original FANBOX post featuring the work in question.
- URLs for supporters-only posts are also acceptable.
- Example 1: Your Creator's Page (https://official.fanbox.cc/)
- Example 2: The post itself (https://official.fanbox.cc/posts/10580243)
- Location of infringing material: Enter the URL of the page where your work has been reuploaded without permission.
- Example 1: URL of the creator's page on the infringing website
- Example 2: URL of the specific post on the infringing website
- Read the "Sworn statements" section and sign the form.
3. Lastly, click "Submit".
This completes your copyright infringement report to Google.
If your report is approved, the infringing URLs will usually be removed from Google search results within about one week.
